Ok, so they abandoned those who catapulted them to fame and even said their new album was more rock n roll…so why oh why at the grammys and on the charts do they still get catorgorized as country….they dont like country and dont want to be associated w/ it anymore so why is it that they are still in the country music catagory?

I think she would be. She won an Oscar herself (1988 – Best Actress for Moonstruck) and is a world renowned, A-list entertainer! Not to mention her collection of Emmy, Grammy and Golden Globe awards, gold and platinum records and her own headlining show in Las Vegas. Let’s write to the Academy.

I’m a member of the student Grammy group which is for college students who seek a career in the recording academy. I’m doing it for the communications part of the industry. In my city, they’re hosting a Grammy viewing party at Hard Rock Cafe and the attire is “music business casual.”

I don’t want to under/overdress.

What would you suggest?
