country music grammys
Dixie Chicks and Country music…..?
Ok, so they abandoned those who catapulted them to fame and even said their new album was more rock n roll…so why oh why at the grammys and on the charts do they still get catorgorized as country….they dont like country and dont want to be associated w/ it anymore so why is it that they are still in the country music catagory?

I totally agree with you. I can’t understand why anyone would want to buy any of their music.
Most country stations won’t even play their music any more. Polls that have been taken indicate that when they hear their music on the radio, they flip to another station.
That’s what everyone should do….maybe everyone will stop classifying them as country!!!

For my American History class we have to have a lifetime timeline, I know it sounds weird, but i’ll explain. For every year that you’re alive, you have to do a major event of history. All history, and i’ll give you an example: 9/11 could count as one for 2001. I can have 1 entertainment- as in someone winning a grammy for a movie or song or whatever.. and one can be sports like steelers winning the superbowl? (: && It has to be up to 2010. Thankyou!
