What do you think of Christina Aguilera’s grammy performance?

I seriously think that was one of the best grammy moments ever

she said in an interview that she had to buy some DVDs and watch some performances to emulate James Brown. she did really well and she got a full standing ovation. It was the highlight of the night….

She even imitated the James Brown screech….

It’s like she sings on that stage and said to those manufactured popstars to get out of her industry….

I’m with you on this one. I thought Christina’s peformance was stellar. She is not a flash in the pan, but a true musical talent. Nice to see her growing out of the ugly phase she went through when she dressed in very poor taste, She looked like a star all in white with her soulful tribute to James Brown. I heard someone say, she did him justice.

Who will win the Grammy 4 Best Country Album?

The nominees are…

“That Lonesome Song” Jamey Johnson
“Sleepless Nights” Patty Loveless
“Troubadour” George Strait
“Around the Bend” Randy Travis
“Heaven, Heartache, & the Power of Love” Trisha Yearwood

Well, after I asked 1 or 2 questions of which Johnson was nomin8d 4 different awards, I’ve learned that some Answerers like his stuff, so he certainly gets the poplar vote. & u got Strait, who sets the standard for country music & has made dozens of albums. Good 2 have Yearwood, Travis, & Loveless back, but I haven’t heard their new stuff on KUZZ-FM. (Well, I did hear “Heaven, Heartache, & the Power of Love” (title track) but only once or 2x.) I’d choose between livin’ legend George Strait & newcomer Jamey Johnson.

So who do u like? U guys heard the new stuff from Trisha, Randy, or Patty? The 51st Grammys take place February 8 on CBS.

I would like to see Jamey Johnson win.
